I can't imagine life without music. If I'm not belting out old favourites from iTunes in my car I'm sneakily scouring Spotify for new music when I should really be finishing my latest blog post. It's on when I’m cooking, it's on when I'm working and going to gigs and festivals is just about one of my most favourite things to do ever.

And I love making playlists - not that I'm suggesting I'm any good at it but I’ve always enjoyed it, ever since I first started taping my favourite songs off the radio during the top 40 on Sunday afternoons. Fortunately, things have got an awful lot easier than spending three hours with your finger hovering over the play and record buttons of your Hi-Fi system, waiting for just the right second to press them in sync. So hears a new playlist for you, my first one since last summer actually. An hour of laid back (mostly) music to insert into your day wherever you fancy. Personally I suggest a weekend late morning with slow pour coffee, some naughty treats form the local bakery and some lighthearted reading…

Enjoy! x
