The on-glaze finish of this cute side plate gives the feeling of real gingham texture while the dark blue against the super-white porcelain gives this traditional inspired design a modern twist. The Vintage Indigo Collection is a modern take on traditional blue and white designs. It is particularly inspired by the blue and white delft tiles that Katie saw on a tour of Rembrandt’s house in Amsterdam. The collection marries vintage blue roses with navy gingham and a ditsy polka dot for the trademark Katie Alice look.
