The on-glaze finish of this cute side plate gives the feeling of real lace texture with a pretty pale lilac background. The pattern, inspired by a vintage lace bracelet found in a boutique in Paris also has a matching dinner plate amongst other items, all in super white porcelain giving the collection a modern twist. Mix and match this style with the vintage floral patterns also found in the Wild Apricity collection for a lovely Katie Alice table setting.
The Wild Apricity collection is inspired by the changing of the seasons, with a romantic colour palette and floral bouquet giving a quintessentially English feel. Apricity is beautiful old word that has sadly fallen into disuse, much like the vintage artworks that inspire all Katie Alice designs. It means ‘the warmth of the winter sun’.
The Wild Apricity collection is inspired by early autumn in England when the roses are still just flowering but the leaves are beginning to turn. Against a deep blue background, a romantic pattern of blousy roses with rusted foliage makes up this luxurious design, with some pieces including vintage illustrations of game birds amongst the flowers.
