This weekend I got into the festive spirit (which is slightly earlier than I normally would but I’m certainly not complaining) and did a Christmas Wreath making workshop at a local Florist.
Tracey set up Foxtail Lilly in her own outbuildings in a town local to me and is a wonderfully inspirational place. She makes beautiful flower arrangements as well as selling pretty vintage gifts and furniture from her lovely shop. She also has a lovely blog, you can find out more at her website www.foxtail-lilly.co.uk
So on a very dark and wet saturday afternoon it was a pleasure to be welcomed into her workshop with the smell of eucalyptus and pine tree cuttings, fresh baked chocolate brownie and a winter spiced scented candle burning away in the corner.
And for three hours we set to work eating cake, drinking tea, gossiping and of course making our very own Christmas wreaths! It was a lovely way to spend what could have been a potentially miserable afternoon in November and I hope to put my new skills to good use this Christmas!
Lots of Love
Katie
