The postman did one of those mystery knocks on me yesterday where you hear the door go and when you open it there’s nobody there – just a box waiting on the doorstep. After a minute of scratching my head in confusion he arrived with another two boxes, which were full of these little beauties from UK company Bidbi.
As with so many things these days I found Bidbi on Google. Really though, how did we ever actually do anything without Google. Bidbi – which stands for Bag It Don’t Bin It – are a company in Sheffield with a strong ethical commitment to their working partners in India and low impact on the environment.
The bags are made from lovely quality 5oz cotton, which is 100% certified Fair Trade, and are then printed at Bidbi’s own factory in Sheffield.
The design I used for the bags is the vintage rose design used on my website which I think is just darling! And a little FYI – I’ve got some exciting product ideas for this design in the pipeline!
We have had these pretty cotton bags made for the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park next week (22 – 26thJuly) where we will be selling them for £3.50 each or giving them away for free with purchases over £25. So if you want one make sure you come and visit us in the Country Living marquee!
