Ditsy Floral first launched back in 2012 and the third Katie Alice collection is still a firm favourite amongst our fabulous customers, especially our amazing following of international customers! The quintessentially English style tea story vibe was achieved through a classic combination of darling shapes, traditional bone china and a dainty floral design.

A year or two ago I had been sure that the trend for vintage florals and ‘shabby-chic’ would be starting to tire and perhaps even disappearing for a while, but it seems we just can’t get enough of pretty pastels and botanical beauty – me included! But shabby chic has been exhilarated recently with stronger, darker and bolder colours being thrown into the mix. And that is exactly what I’ve done for this seasons Ditsy Floral additions. Along with the addition of a pretty pink (my current obsession for everything and anything), I’ve added a wonderful teal to the collection, fitting 2017’s trend for bluey-greens and giving this very traditional range an uplifting burst of colour.

These new colours will sit happily along with the previous grey and yellow pieces if you are already a Ditsy Floral collector, or could be the start of a beautiful new relationship between you and your crockery cupboard.

The tea story theme continues with new cups and saucers, a serving plate and cake forks among other items joining the party, and we also have some beautiful new bone china dinnerware in a simplified version of the pattern.

We’re expecting the new products at the end of February and will be listing them as soon as possible but until then, here’s a glimpse of what’s to come!
